Production Technique:The chosen grapes are vinified with a regular maceration of 7-10 days. After an aging period of 10-12 months, partly in barriques and partially in large oak barrels, followed by an added 6 months in bottle before release.Colour:Strong ruby red with violet reflections.
Bunch:Powerful, fresh, fruity with typical varietal characteristics of violet, cherry, plum.
Taste:Mild, extensive, soft, with astonishing length.

Winemaker?s Notes:A super-classic of Montalcino and Banfi. A wine capable to match the grace and hardness of its leader complement with a freshness and honesty that make it one of the mainly flexible wines within Banfi?s proffer.

Very pleasant when released, it is also appropriate for a long aging.
