Mild peppery aroma with sugary fruits and vineous notes. Full, rich and tasty. Smooth citrus flavor. Slight hop and honeyed notes, bubblegum and coriander. Cloves, spiced apple and sweet granule. Superior warming alcohol, astounding balance for its strength, smooth yet strong. Good, persistent finish.

Le Trou du Diable Schieve Tabarnak
The priest holds the devil whilst sitting in a Tabarnak – a popular promise word in Quebec – Tabarnak is indistinct version of Tabernacle, which is Dutch for the wooden vault in Catholic churches where sacramental bread is kept.

This label makes exceptional use of colors complementing the hues of reds and greys. The image of the priest and the devil in the centre is instantly engaging making you want to look more for different clues in the picture as to what is going on. There are windows on each side, on the left we see Canadian pine trees and to the right Belgian rooftop s.

Mort Subite Oude Gueuze
Vineous, soft acerbic fruits, grapefruit and lambic annotations with toasted malt on the snout. Really packs a punch on flavor. Tangy and sweet. Tartness builds in the mouth with creamy malt and a light hint of hops. Spritzy, uplifting, sharp and acidic. Then sourness is balanced by sweet malt in the clean, bitter finish.

Fujizakura Heights Beer Rauch
Great smoky fragrance on the nose. Slight nutty notes, raisins, smoky bacon, campfires and a feel of creosote. Roasted malts and coffee with sweet caramel, fairly balanced. Evocative of Lapsang Souchong, the smoke edifice up to deep oak flavors. Refreshing as well. Bitter hops in the end with rich malt.
